Angolanbloggers, a platform for Angolan bloggers
Development, strength, unity, and resistance are the words that stayed with me after having had a very inspiring encounter with the creator of Angolanbloggers, dear Claudia Mittler. Angolanbloggers is a platform for Angolan bloggers, whose main objective is to serve a bridge between brands and bloggers. Most of you probably already know what a blogger is or does. But for those who don’t know: “Bloggers are people who create a blog where they regularly publish information related to products or subjects of interest to them. These interests may range from fashion, beauty, nature, travel, health, literature, art etc. “
For me, blogging is sharing and learning. And through this sharing and learning relationship, the blogger becomes some type of mentor or an influencer to his/her audience. With the advent of digital marketing, bloggers have become a very important marketing tool for small and large companies. More and more brands are looking to work with bloggers in their campaigns to attract the more customers, but above all, to create a closer relationship with their customers, and to communicate their brand values and brand identity.
Blogging in Angola is something very new. There are few companies that are already aware of this influence that bloggers have on people. In the meeting with Claudia I realized that is exactly what the Angolanblogger intents to change. The platform aims to bring a connection between brands and bloggers. And that makes Angolanblogger something much more than a platform for bloggers. For Angolan like me, it represents development, unity, and resistance.
Development because it represents a new era in digital marketing for Angola, offering new opportunities for local companies and bloggers work together. It’s a proven receipt for small and large companies to market their products. Therefore is widely used not only to increase profits but also to reach and engage with new customers.
It represents unity because the platform is not only meant to connect Angolan brands and bloggers residing within Angola, but also to connect Angolan brands and bloggers in the diaspora. Thus eliminating many barriers that many of these Angolans face when trying to penetrate the Angolan market.
And on the other hand, Angolanblogger represents resistance, because despite all the difficulties that exist in our country, there are still a lot of young Angolans who have the vision, strength, and energies to develop projects like this, and to follow (as far as possible) the economic and technological development of others countries.
The look that I brought to you today is Inspired by three words: Development, Unity, and Resistance. (1) Development because the look represents a cross between the past, present, and future. A modern look made with vintage pieces with a futuristic character. (2) Unity because despite the singularity of the look it stands for a common vision. And (3) to complete I used my hair loose in an afro style that represents Resistance.
I hope you have enjoyed it, do not forget to dream and always fight for the fulfillment of your dreams.
