Hi, I have PDA36A2 and works fine. I need to know the threshold of the laser power which can be withstand by this photodetector when operated at 0 dB gain and at high impedence setting. I am planning to use a mW CW laser. If you suggest a neural density filter kindly recommend a suitable filter with the damage threshold value. We do not spec a damage threshold for our detectors. We recommend that the PDAs are not operated the beyond saturation which happens at a few mW. We use in our setup the model PDA8A2.
